Why it lands: Golden hour on the water, ice cream, and a nightcap under the bridge — half of it free.

Weather backup: Raining? Skip the kayak, start at the ice cream shop, and take the same view from The River Café bar — call ahead and mind the dress code.

  3. 8:45 PM Pool, wings, and pitchers at Break Bar in Astoria — 7 to Queensboro Plaza, then N/W to Broadway — or a 12-minute cab

Why it lands: Climbing first gets you past small talk; the sunset bench is the payoff.

Weather backup: Skip Gantry and go straight from climbing to Break Bar — fully indoors.

Little Italy, Bronx Edition

Weather backup: The Retail Market is fully indoor — shorten the avenue stroll and sit down at Zero Otto Nove early.
